The Dangerfords finally made it to Montana Peter is now on board to move there as soon as possible
Montana was awhile ago but here you go....Finally, able to get the new car out on the road this is were she got her new name, White Fang, she was such a trooper going up and down Going-to-the-Sun Road.

I really wanted Peter to hike the Highline Trail but unfortunately it was closed due to the snow. So we hiked Hidden Lake which was covered in snow too but its not on a mountain face so if you fall you don't die.

I really needed to hike Mt. Brown and I knew it was hard but 6000 ft in 6 miles is a lot harder than it sounds. Especially when your in a crunch for time and you run out of water and you get blisters and.....

Iceberg Lake is one of my favorite hikes in the park and it kinda blew Peters mind. Peter got in to everybody of water even the iceburg filled ones. I got in ankle deep and I thought I feet were going to fall off.

are you kidding me?! these pics are GORGEOUS! definitely adding this to my list of places to visit someday... my list is getting way longer much faster than I'm actually traveling. :) And I can't believe Peter swam in that icy water!!

You were the first one that I tried and I feel like I hit the jackpot.
Your Montana pictures are beautiful and you're hikers too! You are definitely my kind of people. If I weren't in Utah, I think Montana would be my second choice for a place to live. I went there on my mission, from 1974-1976. I still remember it as one of the prettiest places I've ever been. I still think of elk herds on plains, a sky that seemed to have no end and I saw my first Aurora Borealus (probably spelled that wrong).
Do you hope to move there soon? Are there many jobs? If I were young (and in good health)like you I'd live in a tent or a shed just to be there. You are great adventurers. Do it while you can.
